Segui
was born in Cordoba, Argentine, In 1963 he moved to Paris where he did
this piece obviously influenced by comic strips and just after
Jean-Claude Forest had started his famous Barbarella comic. In
the 1960’s Segui had exhibitions all over Europe. While he was a Persona
non grata in Argentine because of critizising the regime he became,
influenced by Picasso, a known artist and even represented Argentine at
the Bienale in Venice, Italy.
